Vivian A. Adame

Senior Associate

Overview

Vivian Adame is a member of the firm’s Employment Law group. Her practice is focused on representing businesses in wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation matters. She works on a broad spectrum of employment issues, including counseling her clients on leaves, accommodations, wage and hour matters, and developing effective policies and practices.

In addition to her litigation and counseling roles, Vivian regularly serves as a workplace investigator. The nature of the investigations she conducts includes those requiring Spanish fluency and multicultural understanding. Vivian also regularly leads trainings to help employers combat implicit bias, microaggressions, and harassment in the workplace.

Prior to joining Wilson Turner Kosmo, Vivian was an associate attorney at a San Diego insurance defense firm where she defended individuals, professionals, and businesses in personal injury, premises liability, and professional negligence matters.

Representative Matters

  • Served as second chair in a multimillion dollar whistleblower retaliation lawsuit against a large university. Deemed the prevailing party after Plaintiff only obtained a small fraction of the university’s Code of Civil Procedure section 998 offer.
  • Obtained summary adjudication on behalf of a large university in a gender discrimination and harassment lawsuit.
