Naomi Pontious is a member of the firm’s Employment Law and Class Actions groups. Naomi represents individuals, public entities, and private corporations in a variety of employment disputes. Naomi has extensive experience in complex litigation, spending the first four years of her practice litigating multi-million dollar class action and mass tort claims for employees before transitioning to exclusively representing employers. Naomi has represented employers in several high profile litigations, including wage and hour litigation, wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. Naomi further assists employers is avoiding future litigation, including negotiating settlements with potential litigants, counseling on issues regarding leave, disability accommodation, and investigating harassment. Naomi also assists her clients to develop enforceable and compliant policies to ensure both compliance, and a positive working environment.
Naomi graduated magna cum laude from UCLA with degrees in both Anthropology and History. At the University of California, Davis School of Law, Naomi began her employment practice by interning at the Department of Fair Employment and Housing. Naomi’s extensive experience representing employers, as well as work with administrative agencies and work in Plaintiff’s firms provide her with a comprehensive expertise in navigating employment disputes for her clients.
