Ethan T. Litney

Senior Associate

Overview

Ethan Litney is a member of the firm’s Employment Law and Class Action practice groups. Ethan’s practice includes defending employers against class actions and other complex litigation, such as collective actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and representative actions under the California Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA).

Prior to joining Wilson Turner Kosmo, Ethan primarily focused on litigating class and representative actions from inception through trial and appeal. Ethan also has extensive experience in both drafting arbitration agreements and litigating their enforceability in his client’s favor. Having spent much of his career representing employees, Ethan leverages his experience and unique insight on Plaintiff-side class action practice to develop strategies for his clients to mitigate the risks of class liability at every stage of litigation.

Ethan also counsels employers on methods of prospectively avoiding litigation, including developing compliant policies, drafting contracts to proactively ensure the application of favorable laws, procedures, or forums (including arbitration agreements), and negotiating favorable settlements with potential litigants.
