Overview

Andres F. Michel is a member of the firm’s Product Liability and Warranty groups. He represents distributors, manufacturers, and retailers in fraud claims and warranty claims brought under the Consumer Legal Remedies Act, the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, and the Magnuson-Moss Act.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Michel was a senior associate at an AmLaw100 firm in San Diego litigating fraud and warranty claims against manufacturers. He worked in-house for one of the largest recreational motorized product manufacturers both managing litigation and assisting in transactional matters. Mr. Michel also worked in-house at a public utility company litigating complex civil actions.

Mr. Michel earned a Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law, where he competed as a member of the Negotiation and Mediation Teams and served as the President of the Business Law Society. While attending law school, Mr. Michel interned for several in-house legal departments.

  • Achieved summary judgment on various breach of warranty and fraud cases
  • Resolved over one hundred cases on behalf of various manufacturers and distributors
