Wilson Turner Kosmo, one of the largest women-owned law firms in California, is home to eight attorneys selected for inclusion on the 2025 San Diego Super Lawyers list that includes no more than 5% of attorneys in the region.
Managing partner Carolina Bravo-Karimi was named among the Top 25 Women San Diego Super Lawyers. The firm’s named partner Frederick W. Kosmo, Jr. and partner Elvira Cortez were recognized for business litigation. Partners Daniel C. Gunning, Marissa L. Lyftogt, Robin A. Wofford, Lonny M. Zilberman and senior counsel Erik T. Johnson were acknowledged for their employment litigation (defense) and employment & labor practices.
This year also saw six WTK attorneys being recognized as San Diego Rising Stars. The annual list, which honors attorneys under 40 and those in practice for 10 years or less, recognizes no more than 2.5% of the lawyers in each state. WTK’s Rising Star honorees include partner Hang Alexandra Do, as well as senior associates Vivian A. Adame, Jason M. Avelar, Alexi R. Doft, Brian G. Lee, and Mellania E. Safarian. Safarian was also named to the Southern California Rising Stars list.
Super Lawyers is a Thomson Reuters-owned rating service that evaluates industry leading attorneys from over 70 practice areas who have achieved high levels of peer recognition and professional success. The annual selection process includes a statewide survey of lawyers, peer reviews and an independent research evaluation of candidates.
