The San Diego Daily Transcript recently announced its annual “Top 40 Under 40” list, honoring lawyers who are guiding the future of the San Diego legal community. Wilson Turner Kosmo’s own Marissa L. Lyftogt is being recognized as one of these influential lawyers for 2016. “I am honored to have received this recognition,” said Lyftogt. “I enjoy representing firms in all aspects of employment law.

The Daily Transcript’s “Top 40 under 40” is a list composed of the top business professionals in the San Diego region who are under the age of 40. It highlights best emerging lawyers who have made an impact on the legal community. Attorneys who make the list demonstrate exceptional qualifications of leadership, influence, and reputation.

Marissa L. Lyftogt is an associate in Wilson Turner Kosmo LLP’s Employment Law group.  She represents employers in all facets of employment law, including defending against claims of harassment, retaliation, discrimination, failure to accommodate, wrongful termination and wage and hour class actions. She has experience litigating matters in state and federal courts, in arbitration and representing employers before state and federal administrative agencies.

Marissa earned her J.D., from the University of San Diego School of Law (2008) and her B.B.A. magna cum laude, from the University of San Diego School of Business Administration (2004).
